The Wellness Initiative

The Wellness Initiative was born in July 2022 after working in various roles in the health and wellness retail environment. My employer, Wellness Warehouse, passed on some valuable information in my early days at the company – “don’t define yourself by your job title”. Taking this to heart, I ended up working in many roles, across multiple divisions and gained invaluable experience. Below are the titles I held, although how much they mean, I’m not too sure.

– Head of Marketing

– Strategic Projects Manager

– Category Manager (Foods and Baby)

​Throughout this time, I was faced with innovative, passionate young brands who had terrific products, but did not see success on the shelf. I watched people get frustrated, confused and disheartened and I knew that I could do something to help. This is how The Wellness Initiative was born. I am passionate about building small businesses and connecting products to consumers. 

​You may be wondering where my work as a Dietary Educator comes in? After obtaining my BComm degree, I started studying Nutritional Science to receive my Dietary Educator Certificate through CNELM in the UK, accredited by the Federation of Holistic Therapists. I have an attainable, balanced approach to personal health and believe that to be healthy, one must be happy! 

​Overall, my passion for helping people succeed is the cornerstone of what I do. Whether it be personally or as a business, I genuinely enjoy being a small part of your big successes!
