Inspired by Africa. Backed by Science. In developing the brand, we chose to honour Africa by featuring indigenous ingredients and flavours. Thus, NuMuti (New Muti) was born, blending traditional African botanicals with modern science and nootropics, all delivered through an innovative new format.

Sceletium
Sceletium our hero ingredient. Also known as Kanna and Koegoed, is a succulent plant native to South Africa. It has a long and rich history among the indigenous Khoisan people who have used it for centuries for its medicinal properties, since then it has been well studied for its anxiety reducing and calming effects.
Social Responsibility
Sceletium’s story is one of ancient wisdom meeting modern science. In the spirit of recognising and preserving indigenous knowledge we have allocated the San council
of South Africa (who represent the San and Nama people) an equity stake in the business. A first of its kind. We will continue to look at additional monetary and non monetary benefits as we grow.
